CUA Health cover is now provided by HBF, one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit health insurers. We became the insurer responsible for CUA Health cover on 1 January 2023 and not much has changed. We remain committed to supporting our members with the same great health cover that you have come to expect.

CUA Health is committed to helping you find the right cover for you and your family. We have paused new sales and some product changes for existing members, but if you’re looking to review your health cover, switching to HBF is easy. Empowering our members
HBF is seeking nominations from CUA Health members wishing to become Registered Policy Holders and be eligible to vote in Council elections. To be eligible to become a Registered Policy Holder, you must be over 18 years old and must have been a CUA or HBF member with hospital cover for more than 10 continuous years.
